Volunteer Opportunities Seaway Valley Presbytery Fall Fair Oct 5, 2008 Over 200 people attended the "Alive & Kicking" Church Fair in Chesterville. Riceville-Pendleton had 17 people there. The church displays were a source of inspiration to all. Our church display was very well received and people wanted more info on our book marks, info 2-way folders and our business cards.
The Riceville-Pendleton Congregations are always busy either in the church buildings or in the community. From fall turkey suppers to building renovations, we are always looking for helping hands to complete the tasks at large. If you have a special talent, or just want to help the Riceville-Pendleton United Churches maintain their charm, please contact any member of either churches. Also, students wishing to gain community volunteer hours can do so. We need young people to assist in the annual turkey supper and many other events throughout the year. The play area was enjoyed by young and old. We had the opportunity to listen to a wide selection of music throughout the day. The definite highlight was the evening Worship Service. Our Sunday School children were the scripture readers for the service. The other congregations were impressed with their ability. Many people from Riceville-Pendleton United Charge contributed their talents to this event. Thanks to all.
